Privacy by design
Your information stays with you.
This page explains the privacy model behind the jekkil app, the free browser tool, and this website.
Last updated: August 6, 2026
The jekkil mobile app
jekkil is designed to keep the information and links in your Info Bank on your device. You do not need to create a jekkil account or publish a public jekkil profile to create and share Quick Link or Contact Card QR codes.
When you show a QR code, anyone who can see and scan it may read the information or destination you selected. Choose the card or Quick Link that fits the moment and avoid displaying a code containing information you do not intend to share.
The free vCard QR generator
The contact fields entered in the browser-based generator are processed locally in your browser. The generator does not send those form values to jekkil’s servers. Closing or refreshing the page clears the entered fields unless your browser retains form values.
The QR image and VCF file are created on your device. You are responsible for checking the generated contact information before sharing or printing it.
Website delivery and security
The site’s hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, browser information, requested page, timestamps, and security signals. The site does not use third-party advertising pixels.
Download links pass through a short jekkil redirect so aggregate store clicks can be distinguished by page location. The redirect does not create a jekkil account or add an advertising identifier.
Optional website analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics,” the website loads Google Analytics to help us understand page views, approximate location, browser and device information, and site interactions. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga. Advertising storage, advertising user data, advertising personalization, and Google signals remain disabled.
The Google tag code loads with analytics storage denied. If you decline, the site does not configure it to send analytics measurements and it does not create Analytics cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser and can be changed at any time with the “Privacy choices” button. Contact details entered in the QR generator are never sent to Google Analytics.
External services
When you follow a link to Apple’s App Store, Google Play, or another external website, that service’s privacy terms apply. jekkil does not control how those external services process information.
